TRANSLATOR'S NOTES:

	When I downloaded and played this scenario, I found it really fantastic; it only had a handicap: it was in french. My french is even worse than my english, so you can imagine my troubles with that. With a dictionary, I achieve to understand almost all the scenario, but it should be very difficult to understand if you don't have any idea about french. So I decided to translate the scenario into english, the most used language in Civ2 Scenarios, so people who don't understand french will have a chance to enjoy this great scenario. My english is quite imperfect, so there'll be a lot of mistakes in the translation, but I'm sure you will excuse me because I did my best.

THE SCENARIO

	During the 30's, 3 gangs fight for the control of the town. Eliot Ness, the FBI Leader command now the police force. he'll try to clean the town of Al Capone, Lucky Luciano and Frank Nitti's men. Whatever your choice, you'll have 100 days to control the city !

1-SOUNDS 

a) Unzip all files on your \Civ2\Scenario\Mafia folder,as a normal FW scenario.
b) Execute the "setsound.bat" file

All the game sounds will be installed. File "setsound.bat" created by Javier Arriaga.


2-Units

Bully: (Gangs) Basic men, average attack & defense.

Shooter: (Gangs) Offensives units, good attack, poor defense.

Bodyguard: (Gangs) Defensives units, poor attack, good defense.

Saboteur: (Clans) They can destroy HQ improvements, no attack, poor defense.

Boxes: (Clans) Illegal freight ! 100$ for FBI if they intercept it.

Fast Car: (Clans) Fast car , 1 seater , average attack & defense.

Armoured Car: (Clans) Heavy car, 2 seater, good attack, good defense.

Truck: (All) Transport truck, 6 seater, no attack, poor defense. If intercepted by the FBI, they will gain 50$ 

Police car: (FBI) Fast car, 3 seater, average attack, good defense.

Local policeman: (FBI) Defensives units, no attack, good defense.

Policeman: (FBI) Offensives units, good attack, poor defense.

Informer: (FBI) Locating unit, no attack, poor defense. Single units, Informers don't need any vehicle.

3-Special Units (no constructibles)

FBI Inspector

Powerful FBI Offensive Unit. When an "FBI Inspector" is killed, the governement sends a "Federal Arrest Warrant" to arrest the criminals. FBI receive such unit every 15 days. Best attack, good defense.

Federal Arrest Warrant

Send to arrest "FBI Inspector"'s killers. Only 1 use. Successful attack, no defense.

Federal Agent

Basic FBI unit. FBI receive such unit every 10 days. Very good attack, good defense.

Bonnie & Clyde

They'll attack a bank. A this moment send your men near Bank's aera to capture them. If a Gang catch them, it'll receive half of the bank attack money (5000$) and Bonnie & Clyde will work for this gang. If the FBI arrest them, FBI will receive an "Inspector" and an "Agent". Very good attack, very good defense.

5-Tactics

- Protect your "FBI Inspector" & "FBI Agent", they're your best offensives units.
- Use "Saboteurs" with this unit, you'll have better chance to conquer HQ.
- Don't forget illegal trades, it'll really pay you lots of money.
- If you only have 1 "box" to trade, better use fast vehicule instead of truck.
- If you have many units in an unescorted truck, unload them at the end of your
  turn to not lost all of them in case your truck is attacked.

6-Other Ideas

Change their governement (Dem --> republic) to allow spy corruption
Modify some sounds (Barracks, Cathedrl, Mrktplce, Stkmarkt & Aqueduct)
